Join three reenactors and history buffs for an information session on dressing the part in Regency Upper Canada:

Mardi MacFarlane, Canadian Fencibles & Civilians in the Midst of Alarums
Sharon Miller, The Seamstress Miller
Alicia Wanless, Heritage Holidays & Spencerville Mill Foundation

This information session will set the stage for creating costumes from scratch, piecing together outfits from consignment finds, and renting clothes. Topics will include:

Historic fabrics
Clothing components for both men and women
Patterns, including reviews of how they worked
Show & Tell of existing costumes
