English Country Dancing Workshops
We are now offering free regular practices every Tuesday night from 7-9 PM above the Town Hall.
You will not find a type of dance more mutually engaging (except maybe the tango) than English Country Dancing. Don't believe us? Watch Pride and Prejudice and let your imagination run wild. The sheer variety of dances in the Regency Period combined with the humour and ease of execution make English Country Dancing a great past time for any age group or skill set. With the goal of recreating a period Regency Ball for the Spencerville Mill's Bicentennial next year, we invite you and your friends to learn from Ottawa's Nigel Kilby. We're scheduling this lesson just in time for participants to take part in neighbouring Chesterville's Regency Ball on the Labour Day weekend.
