The Spencerville Mill Foundation is working on booking our music program for summer 2020. We can tell you our June presentation features local musician, Mary Moore, and her band, Mixed Blessings.

A Kiss To Build A Dream On, with the Mixed Blessings Jazz Band, Thursday, June 25 – 7:30 pm. $15
Mixed Blessings originated with Barry Cooper on mandolin, Allan Temple on guitar, and Mary Moore on ukulele and vocals. These three musicians have explored many musical genres over the years in separate ventures. On coming together through other musical connections, they have discovered a unique sound combining their love of all that is musical, and their unique skills. The name refers to the variety of music they perform, from celtic and folk, through bluegrass and jazz.

Mary provides her brand of warm vocals and rhythm ukulele/guitar and percussion, punctuated by the quick-fingered mandolin artistry of Barry, and the solid rhythmic and lyrical expressions of Allan on guitar. We will be joined by Ryszard Cimek on bass, and Susan McCarthy on harmony vocals. The show repertoire will reflect the Mill's summer theme of 'Love' - their show being called 'A Kiss to Build a Dream On - chiefly jazz standards in a lively acoustic style.
