Join us in preserving a piece of history!
The Spencerville Mill & Museum is a treasured landmark that has stood the test of time and remains a symbol of our community's heritage. However, it requires continuous maintenance and restoration efforts to ensure that future generations can enjoy its unique beauty and significance. Together, we can protect the Spencerville Mill for years to come. The Spencerville Mill Foundation is a voluntary organization dedicated to the historic preservation and interpretation of the last remaining Mill on the South Nation River, and to the local community’s history.
A SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Our current challenge is to make the Mill accessible to all visitors with the installation of an elevator to the upper level. This Rise-Up campaign will ensure that everyone can attend wedding celebrations upstairs, enjoy Music at the Mill concerts and visit our special exhibits and displays.
OUR GOAL
A modern elevator will require additional wood finishing to fit seamlessly into its 1860s authentic surroundings. This major project is estimated to cost $100,000 to achieve. We invite you to help ensure our fundraising success with a financial donation of $250, $500 or $1,000 or more if you wish. All donations will go specifically to elevator expenses. A full tax receipt will be issued to all donors.
Your support through a donation will go a long way in preserving this piece of our shared history and making it accessible to all. See also details on the Events page about our gala fundraising dinner Wining, Dining ... And All That Jazz! at the Mill on June 24.
